hostname lookups

I am looking for a way to perform hostname lookups on my Apache log files "after the fact." In my apache configuration, I have HostnameLookups turned to "off" to optimize apache's performance. However, I'd like my statistics program to be able to analyze refering URLs. Is there some program that can be run just before my stats program that will perform DNS lookups of the IPs listed in the log file? Or even better, is there a stats program that does it all?

There are just too many ways to do it. You can even search CPAN if you are familiar with Perl.
