how 40 server with apache server working as one site ( same url)...
how 40 servers with apache servers working as one site ( same url)...
I knew some of these companies ( not even consider as big one), they have 50-100 servers in different cabinets. I knew how to do this in router (by means of nat with different ports). ie different physical servers. I knew how to do this in apache with virtual hosting or sub-domain but not in a different physical server. they seem to combine the apache of differnet physical linux server into one big site. how the traffic director ( the top appache server) handle this situation??

no, I am not taking any course at the moment, but I have research and thinking how big company e.g. hotmxxl.com , excity.com, ....etc.
HOW millium people can access the same site without breaking down. I knew how to do virtual hosting, I have the experience of setting up virtual hosting. the second url, I can't link to it. your answer have not clear my head yet!
