How can i set index.php to be read as a home page by Apache?
Running Apache on Windows. Searched through the docs but, couldn't find any info. I know it's got to be in the httpd.conf file or something. But i can't find.
Thanks... |

Search into this forum or into docs for DirectoryIndex directive.

Don't search the docs, bookmark this page now -> http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/directives.html
Then go to -> http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/mo...#directoryindex |

Thanks. Now that I know it's called DirectoryIndex I can take care of the rest. And the url's were VERY helpful. Thanks...

Thanks for posting this question. I've been putting it off for days because it sounded so simple. hehehe The seemingly simple questions are easiest to answer right?
