How do you change location of httpd.conf in Win 95?

I've changed the names of some of the directories to match my webhost. Obviously, Apache is having problems locating the httpd.conf file when it launches. I can solve this by starting Apache in a console window and using the -f switch but that is a real pain. I've read on the Apache site that you can alter a registry key to let Apache know where to find the configuration file. According to the Apache documentation, there should be a registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apache Group\Apache\1.3.13\ServerRoot

I, however, have no "Apache Group" under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\

What should I do?

Launch regedit and do a search for Apache.

well, it's working now

freebsd-

Yeah, I did that. The only things I found were minor, insignifcant things -- nothing like what was alluded to on the Apache site. Fortunately, it's all irrelevant now 'cuz it is working. Maybe you only have to type the -f switch once? I don't know. All I know is it is working now. Thanks for the help.

Ok, make sure your httpd.conf file is in your conf folder under whatever you put apache in. For example, if you put apache in c:\apache make sure your httpd.conf file is in c:\apache\conf. That should fix that problem...then in the httpd.conf file where it specify's what file it looks to first, make sure it says "index.html index.htm"
