Why you repost this? Something wrong with the instructions there?
http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/Forum15/HTML/000141.html

If you had problem with the libmysqlclient.so.6, you need to fix that in advance. I already posted the link from my previous message, please check it out first.
Here is another link with better instructions -> http://www.phpbuilder.com/forum/read.php3?num=3&id=100511&thread=100495

Hi, after "make", it said "libauth_mysql.so: No such a file or directory" what's that?
Also, when I edit the etc/id.conf.so, after i run it, it said "/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so" is not a directory....

so many problems eh.....THanks

Read this carefully -> http://www.phpbuilder.com/forum/read.php3?num=3&id=100511&thread=100495
You need the directory path, not the full path to libmysqlclient.so.

>>after "make", it said "libauth_mysql.so: No such a file or directory" what's that?

What exactly did you do before "make"? After you typed "make", "libauth_mysql.so" is still not there. After you finished "make", then it's there. The "there" refers to "/usr/local/src/mod_auth_mysql-2.20" directory.
