how to use .htaccess
Hi,
I want to change the /temp folder that stores my session files in my host servers php.ini file to a different name. First I can't even find that /temp folder on my remote host. I emailed my hosts to ask how I could do this and all I got back was use .htaccess Iv'e looked at all the posts here relating to .htaccess and none explain how you use .htaccess to change files on your server, I'd be a little happier if I could at least find the folder /temp where my session files are beign saved to. Any help will be much appreciated. Tony

Hi Michael,
Read that report on the link you gave me thanxs, well I'm more confused than ever now Think I'll give changing the filename a miss for now, and leave it as temp for now. Mind you as I said above I wish I could find the blessed temp file on my server I'm hopeless at files and paths and all that never mind thanxs anyway Tony |
