#include virtual
Hello all,
I am in the processing of updating a site that uses several instances of <!--#include virtual="/path/header.inc"-->. We have two servers for testing and one for the live site. On the first server, everything works correctly. On the second, the exact same code and configuration works correctly. On the last and live server, the include does not work. Why would this happen? |

Perhaps that functionality has not been enabled. Assuming you're using Apache, you may need to enable the "Includes" option.
Are you using Apache or IIS? I'll move this for you when you tell us.

My webadmin came to me just 5 mins ago and told me that he'd forgotten to enable it (Apache). Thanks!

*chuckles* You're welcome
![]() Out of curiosity, why are you using SSI instead of a more powerful language, like PHP? ** Thread Moved ** |
