I was wondering....
Which program handles the protocol or setting that handles the following situation : You request a page using a URL. Apache recieves the request and sends back the file index.html. OK... What program controlls the default to index.html? Is it Apache, part of the tcp/ip protocol, or does the browser automatically assume that you are looking for http://www.someurl.com/index.html[/pre]? I dont know.. thats why I am named lost |
