i'm not sure
i have windows 98 apache 1.12 server and i need a mail server just to test scripts like forms that use "sendmail". it's just for testing before upload to server. so i'm not sure what i need thank you freebsd

Oh..win32 platform.
Well, to sendmail, you need smtp mail server. Start here -> http://tucows.tierranet.com/mailserver95.html If you are running linux, you should be able to send outgoing mails out-of-the-box.
