I think the file length limit is independent of apache and more of a sys dependent feature.
The max filename length in Solaris 2.6 is 256 characters. I tested this by creating a file in my document root: echo "hi" > thisisaverylonghtmlfilenamethatiamusingasatestfile.html then accessing it: http://myserver.mydom.com/thisisave...satestfile.html ![]() |
