I was extremly annoyed to find that the mod_auth_mysql.c offered for use as a DSO did not allow for encrypted passwords (they think its broke). The trouble is that I already have an apache install using an old version that is non-DSO and I want to use the same remote database that has encrypoted passwords.
Does anyone know a mod_auth_mysql.c file that I can use as a DSO and works with encrypted passwords on?. |

Mod_auth_mysql encrypted passwords
What I meant to say was that this mod_auth_mysql does not work with Mysql encrypted passwords, it does work with Unix crypted passwords. Unfortunately I was using Mysql encryption. I decided to change it to use clear text passwords. On a secure server this will not really bother me.
If anyone knows different please let me know. |
