MSIE corrupted my Apache server!

MSIE corrupted my Apache server!

Hi all again...

I have had my experimental Apache (v1.3.14) server running nicely on my Win NT box since last October.

Today I decided to install MS Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1.
After instalation, and the compulsory re-boot. I found I had some troubles with Apache.

Firstly, when I tried to start the Apache service, it gave me the following error:

Error 2140: An internal Windows NT error occured.

I then tried running it from a console. It said it was running then just quit after exactly 60 seconds.

What has happened? Can anyone help?

PS. I checked the syntax of my httpd.conf file just in case, but no problems with that either.
