nimda is trying to access my apache server

Hello folks,

I noticed in my access and httpd error logs that the new worm nimda is trying to gain access on my linux web server.
Is there a way to stop the access request. Its been busy for sixteen hours straight.

yeah same here...

i hate worms... i doubt there is much that could be done about it tho? at least we don't have IIS anyway

i do agree...i had one of our sales guys trying to tell me that our linux webserver was infected with nimda. i about fell over laphing. i told him that there is no way posible for use to have nimda on our server casue i was linux and it was not microsoft IIS.
