Perl.exe Application error

Hello there....

I have a server running Nt Server with service pack 6,
running Internet Information Server 3.0. I have created a system DSN for
the database I want to access. I use an MS Access database.

I am getting the following error on the
server at times.
The error says:
"The instruction at "....." referenced memory at "....". The
memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the application or Click Cancel to debug the
application.

The window's title is "perl.exe -Application Error".

I couldn't figure out what is causing the error. At certain times,
the thing works perfectly. But sometimes i get the above error
and when i click on ok, I get a page showing

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

If anyone has any idea what is causing this please respond.

Thanks in advance,
Dups

I thought this is Apache forum. Anyway, start here -> http://www.eeye.com/html/Research/T...eRedScanner.exe and grab a copy of this free code red scanner, then do a scan on your IP and see. If your box is infected, then start here -> http://www.eeye.com/html/index.html

In case you haven't applied the patch, do it now! I don't hate code red worm itself because it doesn't bother me. I only dislike the ones who run IIS without applying the patch, either they are technical illiterate or lazy/selfish.

>> I didn't understand what u have written

Because most people who run IIS don't have a clue what a computer is.
Since 30 days ago, majority of IIS have been code red infected. Code red worm resides in memory. So it's possible your box is code red infected causing you those problems. If you haven't applied the patch, do it now!! Don't be selfish.
