general - [Q] How to configuring apache to requires file extensions?
I'm trying to make Apache requires file extension, so when the url is like:

http://site.com/profile
i want the response to be 404

only if the file extension is there it can open normaly
http://site.com/profile.php

Apache should return a 404 if "profile" is not an existing directory or file unless you have some other configuration that you're not showing us.

What does site.com/profile show you?
