Site stops working all of a sudden?

I have a page that displays a form, it does do some processing once you submit it.

Now I am not sure what is happening but all of a sudden, the page stops loading. then after a while it starts up again as if nothing happened. This is with all the pages on that domain. Other domains are working fine.

The page is not intensive, it just displays a form, uses JS library tinymce to allow users to write content.

I have checked the access/error logs and i cant see anything wrong? I do see some missing files that the script is trying to access (which i have removed now) but surely missing files shouldnt stop a page from working?

So I am not sure what other steps to take?

btw I called my web hosting company, they said to look at the processes but this doesnt seem to bring up any useful information. (They did say that memory limit has been reached? but i am not sure how refreshing the page increases the memory limit as i am not doing anything?)

Try restarting the httpd daemon, if you can.

it is a shared hosting so i cannot restart the httpd daemon.

I have enabled Google cache/page optimizer (http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/) and it seems to have done the trick for now. /fingers crossed
