strange .htpasswd uploading problem
I'm trying to upload a .htpasswd via ws_ftp. I'm uploading it as htpasswd and when uploading it I rename it to .htpasswd. but as soon as I do that it dissapears from the browser window. I've also tried uploading it straight as .htpasswd but you can't see it. i know it's been successfully uploaded because ws_ftp didn't produce any errors.
I think ws is having problem viewing the file, unless i'm mistaken

some upload programs keep those kind of things hidden. Some do show them, but only after you have 'registered' it.

This can't be the case because on another site I can view the .htpasswd file, using the same ftp client on the same computer, i think it must be some configuration problem but I;m not to sure what it is.
