Using Apache Virtual Hosts is it possible to create SUB-Domains? For instance, I have a domain registered as URL I would like to also have rhl.hockeyhealth.com... Is this possible with Virtual Hosts and no other DNS modifications? This would be very helpful to me because I am running my network using DSL and have to pay my provider to create DNS entries.
If you cannot create sub-domains using Virtual Hosts then what is the procedure for doing so? Thanks! ~Carlos |

No wildcard enabled so you can't do it. >> Is this possible with Virtual Hosts and no other DNS modifications? No. DNS modifictions is a must. If rhl.hockeyhealth.com is not DNS (forward lookup) resolvable, nobody can reach it. >> then what is the procedure for doing so? Tell agti.net to enable wildcard for your domain. Make sure anything.hockeyhealth.com is resolvable. Once you get that, then you may begin to configure Apache with vhost. |

also make sure the subdomain comes before the main domain or all subdomains will point to the main domain
