Hi I'm working on transferring my website from a WINNT Workstation with IIS 4 to a Linux Rehat 7.1 with Apache. How would I do that and what directories should I put it in.
Sorry It might seem like a dumb question but I'm new and I really need to get this going soon. Thank you |

Hi, you should put your files in a directory like /var/www/html, remember that the default page to be loaded is index.html and download some good visual management tool like Comanche, Linuxconf and MySQLNavigator, don't forget a good ftp server like ProFTPd (with a kde management interface).
Hope this helps
