Web authentication with Windows login/password
First, some setup:
On site I have a Windows 2000/NT network. I use RH linux/apache boxes for most of our external web hosting. I'd like to host some internal information only on the web, so I have to authenticate users. I'd like to use the Windows Network login/passwords so that I don't need to generate/manage a new set of login/passwords for the same people. So is there a way for me to authenticate users using their Windows login/passwords on my linux/samba/apache/php setup????? Is there a module for Apache that I missed that lets it read the Windows password DB/file? Is there anyway I can use Samba as the go between?? Should I just bite the bullet and use an IIS/ASP setup for my org's intranet? Thanks for any suggestions you can give. e |

Thanks!
mod_auth_ntdom looks like it will do the trick. I'll post here if/when I have a successful install and config. Thanks again, e |
