I install apache_1.3.19 from the source to /usr/local/apache, however there is no entry in the /etc/xinetd.d folder for httpd. I've look for examples on how to write it but have had no luck. As of now httpd does not start when the comuter is booted. I'd prefer to add an xinetd entry over other methods. Is there any way to have mysql also start w/ xinetd?

Apache should be run as a standalone server (ServerType standalone). >> Is there any way to have mysql also start w/ xinetd? Who else beside you is using your mysql server? Why you wanted to put a load on xinetd? |
