I've been using URL asp shopping cart (free version) for a while with an access database and it worked perfectly. My store is very popular now (more than 200 simultaneous users) and I need to migrate to a professional database. Comersus is compatible with SQL Server and mySQL. Which one do you recommend? My idea was to use mySQL since in that case I can purchase Power Pack Medium ($239) instead of Premium ($370)
Thanks a lot. |

I'd say or stay with microsoft products. Not that I'm a microsoft fan or anything, it just that SQL Server is a very powerfull database just like MySQL but since you have been working with a Microsoft database(Access) in the past, perhaps you'd be more comfortable with SQL Server.
That's my own two cents, nothing special ! Sincerely Vlince |

the difference between Access and SQL Server is huge but between SQL Server and MySQL it's much more similar. it really depends on how much you interact with the database or whether Comersus does all the work. MySQL, as it should be, is the cheaper option
![]() what do you have to do to use this shopping cart?
