Is this the ChiliASP component?
I don't know anything about it except what it says on the box to be honest. I would go to their web site and check out the support/forums. It is bound to tell you all the details about using it compared to on a M$ box.

This is from the chillisoft 3.60 docs I think

Quote:
The CodePage and LCID properties are not currently implemented in Chili!Soft ASP.

Request.ServerVariables

LOGON_USER
The Windows® NT account the client user is logged in to.

Note
not supported by Chili!Soft ASP for UNIX.

VBScript FileSystemObject Object GetDrive Method
Returns a Drive object corresponding to the drive in a path. This method is not currently supported on UNIX.

lots of stuf concerning the VBScript Drive Object doesn't work on UNIX as well as lots of the ADO stuff

A lot of this may not be a problem if your writing your code from scratch, but if your porting your code across ... well then good luck.
