ASP.NET and IIS 5
Hi,
I am a newbee to the world of .NET. We have IIS 5.0 running on Win 2K. I have been using ASP scripts until now, but now we have upgraded to .NET platform. My question is that -> Do i need to configure IIS 5.0 to run ASP.NET scripts or saving a script written in ASP.NET should run without any configuration required. Visual Studio.NET is not installed on the box with IIS 5.0....Do i need to install it on that box with the IIS? Do I need to have some kind of .NET service running on the box to serve ASP.NET pages? Thanks. Ricky Singh |

You need to install the .NET framework on the server. It's available from windowsupdate
