hi
i am using access and in a table, I want a field with autonumber but starting from 100 or 1000 rather than 1! can it be possible (starting from 1000 and incremented by 1)? thanks |

I thing there is a way unfortunately I don't remember...(and maybe I just wrong, that happens more then often these days)
But why not simply create 99 records(making a copy/paste so it'll go faster) and manually *DELETE* these 99 records, your database will be fresh to start at 100 and it will increment by 1 since its an autonumber field. this takes two seconds to do, but there's got to be a better way of course ![]() Hope this helps!
