cdonts email

I am not having any trouble getting cdonts to work, but damn is it slow. I have the importance set to 2, but sometimes it can take a whole day or more to get the email. Anyone, know how I can make this faster, or another freeware program to send mail faster. Thanks ahead of time.

hehe, importance is a mail thing, as in outlook has a little exclamation point that appears before the email if it's "important" even though noone looks at that anyway. I'd look at the traffic going through your SMTP server, that's where your hang up is most likely.

thanks for the note on the importance, if i am going through a web host, how do i figure out the traffic through the smtp, and further if there is nothing i can do about the traffic, is there a faster way to send email...i have tried both aspmail and cdonts email thanks in advance

see if your web provider offers MAPI...

or get a service that provides faster SMTP

I agree with unatratrag.... cdonts isn't your problem. It's not slow. Your hosting company is either having problems or them bulk send their smtp.
