creating a really nice dropdown menu... ASP?

I am try to create a really nice looking dropdown menu for a client. I have experimented with basic javascript dropdown menus but dont really like the look of them. I am trying to get the nice look of this site I came across:

http://www.eliyon.com/PublicSite/public/default.asp

I am assuming this dropdown menu was done with asp because of the ext. I do NOT have any experience with asp. The site I have been working on is completly HTML.

First, would it be possible to quickly learn the basics of asp and implement the code into the nearly finished site?

Second, are there any other means of achieving this nice look with out asp?

Thanks in advance,
Dynasty

Take a look at: http://www.w3schools.com/dhtml/dhtml_examples.asp

The have a few standard menus to use, then just switch the colors and font's until you find somethign you like.

Good Luck!
