It is possible if your web server user has proper permissions, but I wouldn't recommend manipulating the system registry from a web page.

There are multiple approaches, you could write a custom com object, you could use windows wmi objects (probably), you could use registry functions in wscript. Google should turn up example code.

Thx, but I don't want to manipulate any registry keys.
I would like just to read the string value and display via asp page.
I'm not a programmer and cannot find an example for that what I want.

Web pages should not be able to access something like that, security reasons. Too easy to create a virus that would do stuff improperly.

I'm going to take a wild guess that if you put "read registry key from asp" in google you'd find the same long list of examples I see. Go through them to find an example that works for you.
