Angry Help Needed

I WANT TO IMPLEMENT AUTOCOMPLETE COMBO BOX IN ASP PAGE. WE CAN USE MS FORMS 2.0 OBJECT LIBRARY TO IMPLEMENT THIS IN VISUAL BASIC.

I WANT TO DO THE SAME IN ASP. FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE DROP DOWN BOX HAS THE FOLLOWING WORDS

BELL
FELL
HELL
HELLO
HELLOW

AS I TYPE IN THE LETTER "H", THE DROPDOWN BOX WOULD MOVE DOWN TO WORDS WITH THE LETTER "H". THEN IF I TYPE THE LETTER E, I WANT IT TO MOVE DOWN TO WORDS WITH THE LETTERS "HE". SIMILARLY, I WANT IT TO MOVE DOWN AS I TYPE IN LETTER BY LETTER.

PRESENTLY, THE DROP DOWN BOX IN HTML MOVES DOWN ONLY WHEN WE TYPE IN THE FIRST LETTTER. IT DOESNT MOVE DOWN FURTHER AS WE TYPE IN OTHER LETTERS.

I NEED THIS FACILITY TO BE IMPLEMENTED ASAP.

PLEASE HELP.

THANKS FOR USING ALL CAPS!!!

The only way you can do this in ASP (I think) is by using an Event on the select box and use JavaScript on showing the selected value.

Check out the JavaScript bored on how to cycle through the options of a select box.

GOOD LUCK!
