How to build a CMS?

OK first thing...
Is CMS = content management system ? Second thing, I doubt you'll find free code or even a tutorial for that. Reason being is that companies spend years and lost of money to develop these type of application and the competition is harsh. Why would they give the code away, even for 100$ US? What you might find, is some basic ideas/approaches/concepts that'll help you build one but very little code. If you do find one, you'll most likely need to tweak it so that it fits your companies needs. Oh and if you do find one, please post I'd be interested in seing how much that company is giving away.
