hi, im new to ASP. can someone please tell me if im using windows me and access, how do i connect my db to my asp page? please help.

First, your subject is not acceptable, and your question is too vague. You could easily find this with google.

I hope you aren't running access and winME on your server. And the server is what matters with asp, it is not a client-side application. As for your question, try googling for "connect access to asp". The 2nd and 3rd hit should help you.

ok...

im running win me, asp host is http://www.7host.com, not running access on server my pc so i guess the host would be the remote server? i am new to this so i am clueless.

yr question is confusing. to my understanding, you want to write in ASP at your pc, then host it in 7host.com?

well, you can do it all locally at your pc, then later copy all your asp pages & database to your asp hosting company.

yup, u need some basic programming skills on asp.

Do the google search I posted before to find how to connect the database. If you are complete n00b, which apparently you are, www.w3schools.com www.4guysfromrolla.com and www.asp101.com have some good general tutorials and such to get you started. Read some, then try the code, and post back when/if you have more specific problems with the code you have written.
