Exclamation PLZ translate this small PHP to ASP code

plz i must have translated this php code to asp i have a huge project done and i am stuck on this!!!! i managed to make my project to mysql and php but i cant find a way to control user permisions.
ms sql 2000 has an exellent user permision system but i cant finish my project cause i cant translate that part!:

This is the same code you posted already in another question, but now you are asking about controlling permissions? You need to be more clear about what you are trying to do, and what the problem is. You also mention ms sql 2000, but before you were talking about MySQL? Which database are you using?

For connecting in ASP does it matter what db you're connecting to if you're using an ODBC? I don't think it does....

If he's using mySQL, he needs the myODBC component installed. This whole discussion has been had in his other post, so I'm not sure what he's asking about here.

Unhappy explainations

sorry about posting this again but in my previous post i thought i could have 2 answers in my 2 question.

i allmost managed to solve my problem with the user permissions etc so forget it!!

NOW i am giving you this code in PHP and i want some one who knows ASP very good to "translate" it in ASP. My databese is and System DSN made by Ms SQL 2000 and it's name "HRC".

But if you cant spent some time for me never mind thanks any way for posting.
