Prepopulating a field in a form
I'm very new to this, so I'd be very grateful if you could help me out please.
I want to be able to go to a page (tawl.asp) that contains a form. In this form there is a dropdown box (name="DeptAirport") Using the URL I want to be able to pre-populate this field with the particular value="MME" I tried this as the URL: www.website.co.uk/tawl.asp?DeptAirport="MME" but no joy, it just brings up the page tawl.asp but without the field being pre-populated. Have I totally got the wrong end of the stick? Any help would be most appreciated! |

Static I think. Sorry to sound dumb, but how do I tell? It's a 'select' box.
