programming during day vs. night

Why doesn't anyone ever have problems during the night when i'm not working and can post then? Why do karsh and vlince get to answer every question? And if they have jobs where they can post all day why can't i have their job? Does no one out there feel like answering? Doesn't anyone program during the night? I know plenty of people that work the 2-10 shift, why don't they post at night? or do we need to wait for college kids to ask how to do their homework again.....It's getting to be that time of year.....

having a job is a start. the only reason i'm on during the day is because i don't have anything to go to. most programming jobs are office jobs and most offices don't run at night. there is the advantage of time zones but that's usually way later (or earlier).

find a better job

yea, i figured a lot of the larger companies had later 2-10 shifts though.

I guess the night posters are usually students with programs due the next day =P

i DO need a better job however... you know of one? haha, probably not since you don't have one....giggle fading to a sigh with a blank look on my face as i have to go back to work AGAIN tomorrow.....and probably the next day too, but we'll see about that

LOL...we don't answer every question?
In fact, I like to read other peoples answer, this way I know I'm not the only one thinking the same way

Seriously though, I work 40 hours a week and as a consultant at night. Last Friday I had clients coming over at 7:00pm till 10:00pm then I had to go to another client at 11:00pm to Export data from SQL Server to MySQL...luckily the client postponed the rendez-vous Saturday morning but it never stops

I also have a deadline for september 12 for a web site contract, I like coming here and other forums to share and learn.

I'll always be grateful to Bill Wilkinson from aspmessageboard.com and many others that helped me along the way, It's only normal for me to do the same I guess!

Work here, at the company, is slow so that allows me to post in various forum.

I'm also learning C# and perhaps write articles on certains subjects...for that I'll have to wait.

Programming is a craft and you never stop learning, in 10 years from now M$ will comme out with yet a new programming language(hopefully the Vlince++)/concept/way to do things.

But ya I'm also looking for a new job/work since I just bout a house far away from where I actually work right now.

Vlince

I'm an intern. I've finished my projects and leave in a week, so I don't have time to do anything else. So I spend lots of time posting.
I don't think me and vlince answer everything though, I usually seem to miss answering questions before someone else does, lol. Must just be a perception thing.
