Reading a text file on a physical filepath

I get a CD from O2 containing call data.

I want to read the txt file on the CD and use the content of the textfile in an asp file to import to the database.

But how do i read the file?

http://www.learnasp.com/learn/txtread.asp has a simple script to read data from a text file. Google for "read text with asp" or similar.

As to reading from the cd, you could look at this thread, but basically it isn't really possible, unless the cd drive is the server's drive? Not really sure what you meant here.

Don't know what you were going to be doing with the database either.
