upload file to server and store name in database
Hi lads,
I want to be able to upload a image to a directory called 'images' on my server and also save the file name in a database. is there anything out there that does this without a COM? Cheers Webplanetlite

Well...you could create you *OWN* component that does all of this but I strongly suggest buying one that *COMES* with code sample such SA FileUp.
I don't know how much it cost but thousands and thousands of people are using it so I guess it's reliable enough! But if you *CAN'T* then that's a different story, only you can tell us that... Perhaps you might want to look into google.com for "Uploading files without components" or something along those lines... Hope this helps! Sincerely Vlince
