Unable to get textbox to expand vertically
I have a webpage where a record is retreived from a DB, and the comments are placed in a text box (below is code) for the user to check or change. Then the file is submitted where it appends the DB. Of course the comments vary in length for each record and they are cut at 1700 characters. When a record is retreived it is displayed in a horizontal textbox that is 75 characters long. The problem is I would like for the user to see all of the comment in a large multiple row textbox - without having to highlight the textbox characters and scroll over to see the rest of the comments due to the 75 character textbox limit. Can some one help me out?
<input type="text" size="75" name="AddComments" value="<%= Request("AddComments")%>" wrap="40" onKeyDown="textCounter(this.form.AddComments,this.form.remLen2,1700);" onKeyUp="textCounter(this.form.AddComments,1700);">
