I've read that you can protect a directory on your site using Apache and MySQL with no PHP. Is this true? Can anyone help me do this?
I need to authenticate users who access my members directory against a MySQL table with 9,000 users. Please Help!!! |

Start here -> http://www.apacheweek.com/features/userauth
Then here -> http://bourbon.netvision.net.il/mysql/mod_auth_mysql/ Make sure you can get basic htaccess/htpasswd authentication to work before trying to use mod_auth_mysql. |
