There isn't a close command as such for a batch file, but you could use the 'taskkill' command that would close the open application - this can be done by using the PID or the application name, and the latter in this case would be the best option I would imagine.
You would need to add the line
Providing that this is the name of the application in the task manager. It's not always necessary to add the '.exe' extension.
