Beginner's question - Java and JSP
Hi,
I currently consider myself to be pretty experienced using ASP, SQL Server, Visual Basic (Mostly anything Microsoft). With the emergence of C#, I have considered learning that also.
What I need to know is, is it worth me learning Java and JSP? Are both of these commonly used within the IT industry?
If yes, then can you recommend any decent articles on how to set up a windows 2000 professional machine equipped with IIS 5.0 to handle Java and JSP?
Do I need to install Apache and Tomcat? (Two products I have heard of, but never used
Will these work on a Windows 2000 machine?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated
Many thanks,
Chris
