Choosing right web-dev language to build a marketplace site

Hey everyone, a super-begginer question: what web dev language will allow to build a site like this: zoptamo.com/s-basketball-c-us and is easy enough to learn and skill it in approx 6 months?

Any web language can do it, and the timeframe depends on how quickly and how well you can learn the language and the related technologies.

That's right but maybe you can give any advice for example which one you have learned in short time? Time is a key value in this question

Time is your concern? Not quality? Then you are setting yourself up to fail and I would request that you not bother pursuing software development as a career or source of employment.

PHP is quick to learn but very easy to do poorly. C#.NET is slow to learn but hardy. Java... I don't know, but some places use it. Ruby/Rails and Python are also options I'm not familiar with.

I personally use PHP and MYSQL. These are in my opinion relativly quite easy languages to learn and use.
