I have a small animation that I created in 'PaintShop Animation' but the size is very large. I have the latest version of Flash (but know little about the program as of now). Is there a way to compress the file size in Flash 5 or does it need to actually be created in Flash. (There is no music or sound on the animation).

When I created an animation, I'm using flash and then publishing it as a gif-animation.
Then I open the animation in animatoinshop (psp) and remove unnessary frames, (how smooth does it go) and saving with a new name, using the optimizer.
