custom content management system - GUI/Layout ?
I am getting a custom, web-based cms made for me. I've never used a cms before, and I don't know the best GUI/layout.
Can anyone provide screenshots of how it's done? I've been using microsoft frontpage before this btw. |

re:CMS
You may have asked a somewhat premature question.
When you say that a CMS is being made for you, hasn't the designer presented you some design directions or options ot choose from? What is the scope of the project? What workflow are you trying to enable content for? |

Even better question, why are you having a custom one built?
I mean I can understand having a custom interface and design, but chances are the guts of the thing will be based on something like Post-Nuke. Its rather dumb IMHO to reinvent the wheel. Anyway, CMS's come in a wide varity. They basically allow you to keep a consistant look through out large amounts of contents. I used phpWebSite for a while, but my personal site was way to small. In fact I cut it from 10 pages to 1 if you don't include game log ins.
