Deleting drop downs...

This is a simple question which probably has a simple answer, but I don't know it! How do you delete items in the drop down menu of the address bar? The computer I'm using seems to save everything in these drop down menus: on search engines, on email, etc. For example on hotmail, I'll start typing in my user name and 4 names will pop up in the drop down... How can I delete the ones I don't need? Thanks!

what type of web browser are you using?

if you're using IE, you can go on over to the "internet options" in the "tools" menu. then in the "content" tab, check the "autocomplete" button in the personal information options. you can then choose to remove the "autocomplete" function of the browser.
