Lightbulb Do you have Norton SystemWorks? Or "Control Panel" in your pc's "Start" button?

If you happen to be lucky enough to have Norton SystemWorks (as I do), if you click on the "Norton Clean Sweep" option, one of the choices is "Uninstall Wizard." Within the Wizard, you may find both installations listed, and the Wizard allows you to choose which one to uninstall, and then it will safely remove the program as well as the accompanying software that may be residing in other folders besides just the Program folder. It lists several areas where your programs may reside, and you may have to search through the lists of programs to find it, but I appreciate the more thorough and individualized option of searching for it myself. It also allows you to store the deleted software in a backup file, just in case you realize you deleted the wrong one.

Otherwise, at least in XP's operating system, If you click on your lower-left "Start" button and choose "Add or Remove Programs," XP will sometimes list the program you are looking for, and THIS method is the most simple way to delete the program, but you have less options to find the file if it isn't listed.

Good luck! I've removed other programs using both methods, but never the XP setup program. But at least it's worth mentioning!
