different characters simultaneously
is there a program that would let me do this:
type in one field with one set of characters while the same thing appears in another field with different characters. and example would be. typing in yahoo instant messenger in one language. when whatever you type appears in notepad with english characters. would that be hard to do yourself? |

Don't think that exists. It would be a challenge to program, since translation usually is context sensitive, a word may mean one thing depending on the words and grammar around it. There's the whole ontology thing to consider, and it becomes a pretty big headache when you actually examine the language structures.
I could see it going sentence at a time, or something like that. But not by word, and certainly not by character. For now, I think you're stuck with the existing cut and paste translators, which frankly, don't do that good of a job. |

If you don't have a set way to encode at this point, you can find a few prewritten encrypters and decrypters at http://javascript.internet.com/
