Dreamweaver MX frame help

When i make a fram and i got it the way i like it it looks good. But then when i preview it always gets stretched out and he shape keeps moving. Is there a way i can lock the fram so it stays the way it looks before i preview it? Also is there a way to get rid of the scroll bar in the frame? Like a no scroll option, i seen a site saying how to do these 2 things but it was for a older version of it and i coudnt find it on the one i got.

Where is your Dreamweaver MX user's guide? The answers are in there. What you need to do is go to your property inspector for frames. There are two items there that answer your question. The first is a drop down box that labeled "Scroll". Set your attributes for scrolling there. The other is a checkbox labeled "No resize". Check the box to disallow resizing.

It is the box that sits below your coding area. It let's you set things like links, background color, border settings, cellspacing, etc. When you are working with frames, the box will chagne accordingly. It is called the "property inspector". Look for it in your Windows menu.

Wink Frame Scrollbars

You need to click on the WINDOW menu option along the top, then tick FRAMES.

Now a frame window opens at the bottom right hand side of the screen.

If you then click on a frame in the small frame window, the frame properties are displayed to the left of it. You will see a dropdown menu for scrollbars and the resize tickbox will also be displayed.

Davey.
