driver download advice
Hello all - I have just inherited a UMAX 610s scanner and now require the appropriate driver. Is it possible to download free from the internet? - I think (but am not sure ) that it is the VistaScan 2.4 I am looking for. I am running win95 currently, but also wonder if it might be possible to download win98SE from somewhere. I have a crappy dial up connection....will I be spending the rest of my life downloading?

Yes, on a 56k dialup you will be downloading the rest of your life especially if you want to download something like a win98 iso (not that I know how to get one...) .
I had a UMAX once and I found the drivers on the UMAX taiwanese site. VistaScan was also there, you need both if you want to get scanning.
