Editing Saved Passwords
I have "prompt me to save passwords" enabled in my Internet Options. My problem is I have changed a password to an online email site and I want to edit this one entry without clearing all passwords. Anyone know where I can find the document that contains this list of autocomplete usernames and passwords?

If you just put in the new password at the site, it should give you some message like "the password you have given does not match the saved password for this site, do you want to change the password to this new value?" or something like that, and you can do it without editing the file.
If this doesn't work, what os and browser version are you running? Last edited by karsh44 : July 16th, 2003 at 01:48 PM. |

need the same info
As hunter09 sais, we need to edit the file containing the
saved passwords in windows. As windows saves our input passwords for this and that site or program, there must be a file with these passwords some where, and we are not satisfied with the option of clearing all of them. Anyone have a clue of where this file is located and what tool we need to access the file ???? |
