first website

i rent a game server from a hosting company. along with the server came a webhosting site. since my programing skills are next to nothing. should i even attemp to use php/mysql. Is there another path that i could follow to place a site on the space. something inexpensive?

it'll pay off. it makes stuff easier to update, change.

that's really useful if your site is gonna be more than small. it'll save u a lot of time.

plus both php and mysql are free and are very popular. so u can change servers w/ no problems.
